Permian won the last time they faced Midland Legacy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Permian Panthers blew past the Midland Legacy Rebels 64-38. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 26 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Midland Legacy lost, don't look at Diego Rodriguez. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds Rodriguez has posted since back in January of 2024. Tristine Turner was another key player, putting up two points along with 13 boards and three blocks.

Permian pushed their record up to 17-8 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.6 points per game. As for Midland Legacy, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-8.
