Volleyball Recap: Lancaster Flying Arrows vs. Mineral Point Pointers

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lancaster can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Mineral Point Pointers on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Flying Arrows of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

While Lancaster was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-22.

Maddie Burr paced Lancaster's offense, picking up six kills. Burr got some help from Relly Hoerth and her 14 assists. Finally, Burr was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.
