Baseball Recap: Union County Comes Up Short

Union County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Chesnee Eagles. The Yellowjackets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in February of 2022.

Union County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Chesnee, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Coming up, Union County will face off against Chester at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chesnee, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-0 victory against Gaffney on the 2nd.
