Basketball Recap: Kings Mountain Mountaineers vs. Ashbrook Greenwave
Kings Mountain lost against Ashbrook back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Kings Mountain Mountaineers received a blow as they fell 84-66 to the Ashbrook Greenwave. While losing is never fun, the Mountaineers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while the Greenwave are ranked 36th).
Kings Mountain lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being J'Myun Huskey, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 boards. Another player making a difference was Kee'Donn Linney, who posted 19 points.
