Basketball Game Preview: Northwestern Colts vs. Central Trail Blazers

Northwestern is on a four-game streak of home losses, Central an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The Northwestern Colts will host the Central Trail Blazers at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 53-3, which was the final score in Northwestern's tilt against Pershing on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 610th, while the Doughboys are ranked 150th).

Meanwhile, Central had to suffer through a 74-5 loss at the hands of Cass Tech. The matchup marked the Trail Blazers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Northwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
