Softball Recap: Oberlin Tigers vs. Merryville Panthers
After flying high against Elton last Wednesday, Oberlin came back down to earth. The Oberlin Tigers suffered a rough 12-2 defeat at the hands of the Merryville Panthers on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Oberlin of the 11-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on March 7th.
Oberlin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sage Wolfe, who went 1-for-2 with an RBI.
Oberlin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Merryville, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
