Soccer Recap: Munford Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Munford was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Anderson County Mavericks finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw on Saturday. There's a chance things could've gone differently had Munford not been charged with a red card from Branden Scott.

Eli Magan and Randall Harrison scored both of Munford's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

With that draw, Munford's record moves to 4-1-1. As for Anderson County, they moved theirs to 1-3-1.

Munford has already played their next game, a 5-0 defeat against DeKalb County on the 23rd. As for Anderson County, they will face off against Seymour at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
