Baseball Recap: Jefferson Davis County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hazlehurst last Tuesday, Jefferson Davis County came back down to earth. Jefferson Davis County came up short against the Seminary Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 20-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 13-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Jefferson Davis County's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Seminary, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

While Jefferson Davis County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
