Volleyball Game Preview: Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech Griffins vs. First Flight Nighthawks

The Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech Griffins will head out to square off against the First Flight Nighthawks at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

On Monday, Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech didn't have quite enough to beat Lawrence Academy and fell 3-2. While the Griffins didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 25-10 in the first set.

Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 10-25, 23-25, 25-17, 25-22, 15-9.

Meanwhile, First Flight made easy work of Northeastern on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Nighthawks.

First Flight walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-13.

The win got First Flight back to even at 10-10. As for Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from First Flight in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Griffins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
