Basketball Recap: Kellogg Comes Up Short

If Kellogg was feeling good fresh off their 61-14 takedown of Genesee last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Kellogg Wildcats fell 53-44 to the Timberlake Tigers on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 70-60 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

Kellogg now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Timberlake, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Kellogg Wildcats face off against the Genesis Prep Academy Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Timberlake, they will welcome Wallace at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wallace has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 215 points over their last three matchups.
