It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Farmington can now relate to. They took a 60-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls. The Scorpions' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Farmington's loss dropped their record down to 23-7. As for Carlsbad, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.

Farmington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carlsbad, they will face off against Hobbs at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hobbs knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Carlsbad likes a good challenge.
