Volleyball Recap: Lovejoy Beats Denison for Their Third Straight Win + How To Watch

Lovejoy waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Denison Yellow Jackets as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Leopards also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lovejoy was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-8, 25-9.

Avery Gray was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last 12 matches. Holland Hutchins also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Lovejoy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive games.

Lovejoy's victory bumped their record up to 22-8. As for Denison, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-14.
