Basketball Recap: Milford Comes Up Short

If Milford was riding high fresh off their 54-12 takedown of Fenton last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Milford Mavericks received a blow on Wednesday as they fell 43-27 to the Howell Highlanders. The Mavericks haven't had much luck with the Highlanders recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Milford's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Howell, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Milford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Howell, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hartland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
