The Bryan Station Defenders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Madison Central Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bryan Station will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Bryan Station can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sayre 64-36 on the road. Given Bryan Station's advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while Sayre is ranked 216th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Madison Central's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 47-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Montgomery County.
The losing side was boosted by Cameryn Ridderikhoff, who scored 17 points. Olivia Metcalfe was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Bryan Station's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-7. As for Madison Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
Bryan Station took a serious blow against Madison Central in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 61-29. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Bryan Station was down 38-16.
