Torrey Pines came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Santa Fe Christian Eagles 68-39. With the Falcons ahead 44-17 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Torrey Pines' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lily Oliva, who went 7 of 11 on her way to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Katie Tal, who posted nine points and three steals.

Torrey Pines was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Santa Fe Christian only racked up 11 assists.

Santa Fe Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances.
