Sand Creek has gone a perfect 10-0 against Sierra recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Scorpions are taking a road trip to square off against the Stallions at 3:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Sand Creek and six for Sierra.

Sand Creek lost 14-6 to Salida on Monday.

Sand Creek saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Rockhold, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Nolan Stratton was another, going 1-for-3 with two runs.

Meanwhile, Sierra came up short against The Classical Academy on Wednesday, falling 25-1.

Sand Creek's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Sierra, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.

Everything went Sand Creek's way against Sierra in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Sand Creek made off with a 20-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Scorpions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
