Baseball Recap: Timberland Takes a Loss

Timberland suffered their closest defeat since April 25, 2025 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers by a score of 11-9. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rhys Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. He has become a key player for Timberland: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-3 otherwise. Greg Lee also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Timberland now has a losing record of 3-4. As for St. John's Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cavaliers beat Timberland by a score of 8-6 on Friday.
