Football Recap: Lucas Macdonald Key Part of Team Effort in Highlanders Win

The Incline Highlanders got the win against the Hug Hawks on Friday by a conclusive 28-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Highlanders.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Incline to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lucas MacDonald, who threw for three yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in one rushing score. Halen Hanson was in the mix as well, providing the Highlanders with two scores.

Incline's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Hug, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Incline didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-12 victory against Silver Stage on the 5th. As for Hug, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Galena at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
