Basketball Recap: St. Paul Lutheran Saints vs. Oak Grove Panthers
St. Paul Lutheran entered their game against Oak Grove on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The St. Paul Lutheran Saints took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oak Grove Panthers. Phillip Nadeau was his usual excellent self, going 6 of 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 33 points and seven rebounds for Oak Grove. Those 33 points gave Nadeau a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Reeves, who posted 14 points and three steals.
St. Paul Lutheran's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-5. As for Oak Grove, they moved to 8-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
St. Paul Lutheran will head out on the road to square off against Kingsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Grove, they will take on Van Horn at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
