Softball Recap: Verona Takes a Loss

Verona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Wheaton Bulldogs, falling 18-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 18-3 loss back in March.

Verona's record now sits at 0-10. As for Wheaton, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Verona has already played their next contest (against Spokane), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wheaton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-11 victory against Pierce City on the 15th.
