The Windsor Locks Raiders posted their biggest win since December 12, 2023 on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 48-16 win over Stafford on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Windsor Locks has posted against Stafford since December 16, 2016.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Windsor Locks to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maeve McGinnis, who scored 13 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Gough, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Windsor Locks' victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Stafford, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Windsor Locks will be playing at home against Ellington at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Ellington is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games. As for Stafford, Stafford and Sports & Medical Sciences Academy will face off at 6:45 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
