Volleyball Recap: Childress Takes a Loss

Childress lost against Vega back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bobcats lost 3-0 to the Longhorns. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 25-15.

Childress' offense was headlined by Ava Everage and Journey Prince, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Sara Davis and her six assists.

Childress' loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Vega, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-16.

Coming up, Childress will welcome Talkington School for Young Women Leaders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vega, they will venture away from home to square off against Friona at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
