Muckleshoot Tribal is 9-1 against Sound Christian since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Muckleshoot Tribal Kings will look to defend their home court against the Sound Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Muckleshoot Tribal is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Summit Classical Christian School just ended the team's 12-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 74-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Archers.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Sound Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They managed a 64-58 victory over Puget Sound Adventist. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Sound Christian's win came from a few key players Muckleshoot Tribal will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Makai Resseau, who went 7 for 16 on his way to 20 points. The game was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mika Lester, who posted 15 points and eight boards.

Sound Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Muckleshoot Tribal, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 14-3.
