Santa Rosa entered their tilt with Estancia on Tuesday with 13 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 14. They put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp  25-3 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  21-1  on April 12th.
 Joshua Cordova made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   seven  hits (and not a single walk). That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with four  RBI.
 In other batting news, Santa Rosa got a  massive  performance out of  Andre Chavez, who  got on base  in all five of his plate appearances with five  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. Those  five  runs gave  Chavez a new career-high.  Andrew Urban also deserves some recognition as  he  launched his first  home run of the season.
 Santa Rosa  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 18  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least 11  hits in eight consecutive  contests.
Santa Rosa pushed their record up to 17-3 with the  victory, which was their 18th straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Estancia,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Santa Rosa will host Texico  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Wolverines have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last three matches. As for Estancia, they will be playing at home against Pecos  at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Bears are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
