Basketball Recap: Del Valle Comes Up Short

Del Valle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the V.R. Eaton Eagles 64-28. The matchup marked the Conquistadores' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Defeat or not, Del Valle got some senior leadership from Shelton Fuller and Angel Rivas. Fuller posted seven points, while Rivas put up four points and five rebounds.

Del Valle's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for V.R. Eaton, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Del Valle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-62 win against Lake View on the 6th. V.R. Eaton has also already played their next contest, a 61-43 victory against Canyon on the 6th.
