11 must be Pewaukee's lucky number: they beat McFarland with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Pirates put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 11-2 victory. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Pewaukee pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for McFarland, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Pewaukee will host West Allis Central at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McFarland, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Lake Mills on the 26th.
