It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sacramento Waldorf had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 50-42 victory over the Vacaville Christian Falcons. The win was nothing new for the Waves as they're now sitting on 22 straight.

Sacramento Waldorf's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Liam Mason Mellberg, who on his way to 17 points and three steals. Jayden Palmer Anthony was another key player, putting up ten points.

Despite the loss, Vacaville Christian still got an impressive performance from Brian Laxamana, who en route to 17 points and eight rebounds. Laxamana has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Dylan Eddings, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Sacramento Waldorf pushed their record up to 27-2 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.7 points. As for Vacaville Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-11.

Coming up, Sacramento Waldorf will face off against Stone Ridge Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stone Ridge Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Sacramento Waldorf likes a good challenge. Vacaville Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
