Football Game Preview: Pajaro Valley Grizzlies vs. Gonzales Spartans + How To Watch

Pajaro Valley is 0-4 against Gonzales since September of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Grizzlies will face off against the Spartans at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Pajaro Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Seaside, taking the game 29-17. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Grizzlies.

Adrian Valadez Jimenez was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 100 yards and three scores.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gonzales). They blew past Rancho San Juan 44-8 on Friday.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Gonzales, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Things could have been worse for Pajaro Valley, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 28-13 loss to Gonzales in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Grizzlies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
