Marshall has gone a perfect 9-0 against Northwest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Redhawks are taking a road trip to challenge the Mounties at 6:30 p.m. Marshall's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Marshall lost 6-1 to Lakeview on Friday. While losing is never fun, Marshall can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 174th, while Lakeview are ranked 20th).

Meanwhile, Northwest and Coldwater finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Northwest's draw makes their record 3-3-3 this season. As for Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Everything went Marshall's way against Northwest in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Marshall made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redhawks since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
