Franklin Central had won four straight home games and Shannon Kingsbury did her part to make it five on Wednesday. The Franklin Central Purple Devils walked away with a 39-30 win over the Hunter-Tannersville Wildcats with plenty of help from Kingsbury, who posted 19 points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 37 games she's played dating back to last season.

Franklin Central is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. Hunter-Tannersville's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Franklin Central will venture away from home to face off against South Kortright Central at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Kortright Central will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Franklin Central surely won't give up without a fight. Hunter-Tannersville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
