Baseball Recap: Mclean County Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

McLean County blew Paducah Tilghman out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Paducah Tilghman got their revenge. The Cougars fell just short of the Blue Tornado by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cougars have suffered since April 25, 2024.

McLean County's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7. As for Paducah Tilghman, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

Coming up, McLean County will square off against Hancock County at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Paducah Tilghman, they will venture away from home to challenge Mayfield at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
