St. Charles Catholic was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against University Lab on Monday. St. Charles Catholic put the hurt on University Lab with a sharp 16-1 victory. Considering the Comets have won nine contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Charles Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. This is the second loss in a row for University Lab and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

St. Charles Catholic didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-6 defeat against French Settlement on the 25th. As for University Lab, they will head out on the road to take on Brusly at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brusly will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something University Lab surely won't give up without a fight.
