Softball Game Preview: Oakwood Owls vs. Village Christian Crusaders

The Oakwood Owls will venture away from home to challenge the Village Christian Crusaders at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oakwood is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Oakwood came up short against Archer School for Girls on Thursday, falling 13-4.

Sienna Lopez-Arvizu was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabel Lieberstein, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run.

Meanwhile, Village Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 8-1 to Heritage Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Crusaders have suffered against the Warriors since May 13, 2021.

Oakwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Village Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
