Football Game Recap: Mason vs. Harper

Mason got themselves on the board against Harper on Friday, but Harper never followed suit. Mason claimed a resounding 54-0 victory over the Longhorns. That's another feather in the cap for Mason, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

The win (their fifth in a row) raised Mason's record to 7-2. The loss dropped Harper's record to 2-7.

Mason will square off against Sabinal at 7:30 p.m. ET next week. Mason doesn't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. The Longhorns will take on Brackett at 7:30 p.m. ET at home. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.
