Basketball Recap: Jackpot Takes a Loss

Jackpot lost against Eureka back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Jackpot Jaguars came up short against the Eureka Vandals, falling 54-29. The Jaguars' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Despite the loss, Jackpot still got an impressive performance from Angel Martinez, who went 7 for 16 on his way to 15 points.

Jackpot now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Eureka, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Coming up, Jackpot will welcome McDermitt at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Eureka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
