If Godley wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Glen Rose, they should've done a better job of containing Judd Connally. The Tigers blew past the Wildcats 56-21 on Friday thanks in part to Connally, who rushed for 192 yards and two TDs while picking up 12.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 196 yards and four touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 56 yards.

Glen Rose didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Caden Marrs and Ty Simmons. Another thorn in Godley's side was Ryder Ribitzki, who made 19 total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended one pass.

Despite the loss, Godley still got an impressive performance from Adam Pempsell, who rushed for 190 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.0 yards per carry. Pempsell's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 142 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Crosby Carmichael, who picked up 120 receiving yards and one TD.
