Soccer Recap: Hillside Takes a Loss

Hillside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the Roselle Park Panthers. Hillside were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Roselle Park apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Hillside's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Roselle Park, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Hillside will face off against Roselle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillside will be up against Roselle's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.75 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Roselle Park, they will square off against Cranford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cranford will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Roselle Park surely won't give up without a fight.
