Preview: Huntley Project Red Devils vs. Joliet J Hawks

After two games on the road, Huntley Project is heading back home. They will take on The Joliet J Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Friday, Huntley Project beat Roundup/Melstone by the very same score they won with last week: 62-8. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-0.

Huntley Project's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tucker Kaczmarek led the charge by rushing for 28 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade Sorlie, who gained 105 total yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Joliet over Colstrip in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Joliet blew Colstrip out of the water with a 51-6 final score. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Joliet had established a 36 point advantage.

Joliet can attribute much of their success to Tucker Lind, who rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. Another big playmaker for Joliet was Townes Catron, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Huntley Project's win was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.6 points per game. As for Joliet, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Keep an eye on the end zone in Friday's game as Huntley Project and Joliet haven't had much trouble getting there this season. Huntley Project commands a daunting offense this season, having averaged 4.8 touchdowns per game. However, it's not like Joliet struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.6 per game. With these two high-octane teams facing off on Friday, fans should be in for an exciting offensive matchup.
