Recap: Millbury Woolies vs. Grafton Gators
The Millbury Woolies fell victim to the Grafton Gators's stalwart defense on Thursday and couldn't make it onto the board. The game between the pair wasn't particularly close, with the Woolies falling 14-0. Having soared to a lofty 44 points in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.
Matteus Mateo threw for 154 yards on 12 of 20 attempts. George Andrianopoulos was his top target, picking up 61 receiving yards. On the ground, Sergio Hernandez rushed for 48 yards.
The critical scores for Grafton came from Jake Mayerhauser and Finn Gilmore.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Grafton's defense and their six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Chase Dimond and Chad Duplessis who racked up four sacks between them.
Millbury's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Grafton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Millbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Grafton also has no future games currently scheduled.
