Richton had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 43-29 victory over the North Forrest Eagles. Given the Rebels' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Eagles are ranked 274th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Richton is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for North Forrest, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Richton will square off against Collins at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. North Forrest has already played their next match (against Poplarville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
