Volleyball Recap: Sunset Knights vs. Wellington Wolverines

Sunset was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wellington Wolverines.

Johan Lorenzo paced Sunset's offense, picking up six kills. Lorenzo were helped by Uziel Chaparro and Vincent Jones, who contributed six assists each. Jones was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Sunset's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Wellington, they moved to 5-9 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunset will host True North Classical Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wellington, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against King's Academy at 6:00 p.m. King's Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Wellington surely won't give up without a fight.
