Baseball Game Preview: Hurricane Redskins vs. Spring Valley Timberwolves

For the second straight game, Hurricane will face off against Spring Valley. The Redskins will square off against the Timberwolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hurricane's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Spring Valley's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Hurricane barely beat Spring Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Redskins put the hurt on the Timberwolves with a sharp 9-3 win on Monday. The Redskins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by six runs or more this season.

For Spring Valley's part, Gabe Chambers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double.

Hurricane pushed their record up to 23-6 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Spring Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-12.
