Volleyball Recap: Sherman Takes a Loss

If Sherman was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Greenville on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bearcats came up short against the Walnut Grove Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bearcats in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-15.

Sherman's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Walnut Grove, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 24-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sherman will square off against rival Anna at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Walnut Grove is set to challenge their familiar foe McKinney North at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
