Football Recap: Everett Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Everett extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 3-4. They were outmatched by the Mountlake Terrace Hawks and fell 49-7. If the Seagulls were looking for revenge after losing 34-0 to the Hawks when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Mountlake Terrace, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Leading Mountlake Terrace to victory were Owen Boswell and Mason Wilson. Boswell gained 197 total yards and three touchdowns, while Wilson rushed for 70 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. With that strong performance, Boswell is now averaging an impressive 102 rushing yards per game. Cody Ekanayake was another key player, gaining 75 total yards and a touchdown.

Looking ahead, Everett will square off against Cascade at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The Seagulls will be up against the Bruins' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.71 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mountlake Terrace, they will face off against Edmonds-Woodway at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' defense has only allowed 13.7 points per game this season, so the Hawks' offense will have their work cut out for them.
