Football Recap: Richlands Wildcats vs. Dixon Bulldogs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against White Oak, Richlands was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 41-6 win over the Dixon Bulldogs. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 25 points or more this season.
Richlands was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 292 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.
Despite the loss, Dixon still got an impressive performance from JJ Gulat, who rushed for 175 yards, and also threw for 67 yards and a touchdown on only six passes. Gulat's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 103 rushing yards.
Richlands' record is now 9-1. As for Dixon, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-8.
