Delone Catholic extended their winning streak to nine on Saturday, bumping them up to 9-0. Everything went their way against the Antietam Mountaineers as they made off with an 80-58 win. The Squires have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.

As for Antietam, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (55), they still had to take the loss.

Antietam lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jonas Coste, who shot 63% from the field on his way to 16 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was AJ Scheifley, who posted 17 points.

Looking ahead, Delone Catholic will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hanover at 7:30 p.m. The Squires will be up against the Nighthawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.88 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Antietam, they will head out to take on Daniel Boone at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
