Volleyball Recap: Cocoa Beach Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Palm Bay on Tuesday, Cocoa Beach came back down to earth. The Minutemen fell just short of the Eau Gallie Commodores by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Minutemen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Commodores earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Cocoa Beach sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 0-25, 15-0.

Cocoa Beach's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Eau Gallie, their victory ended a seven-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-9.

Looking ahead, Cocoa Beach will face off against Rockledge at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eau Gallie, they will head out to square off against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Commodores are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
