Softball Recap: Tottenville Has No Trouble Against Port Richmond

Tottenville never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Port Richmond Raiders with a sharp 19-0 victory. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Unique McMullen was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. McMullen was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Piera Campagna, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Nina Rivera was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

The victory got Tottenville back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Tottenville and Port Richmond will both be playing Wagner the next time they take the field. Port Richmond will head out to face Wagner at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Tottenville will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
