Loretto put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Summertown Eagles with a sharp 73-51 victory. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Summertown lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lleyton Sherman, who posted 15 points. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Andrew Mabry was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Loretto pushed their record up to 24-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.6 points over those games. As for Summertown, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-6.

Loretto didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 89-31 victory against Collinwood on the 10th. As for Summertown, they will head out to challenge Wayne County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wayne County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.6 points per game this season.
