Basketball Recap: Henry County Wildcats vs. Eminence Warriors
The Henry County Wildcats were the 50-26 winner over the Eminence Warriors when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Henry County took a 35-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.
Eminence found their leader in underclassman Brooklyn Smith, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Smith is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Victoria Spiegl, who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Henry County's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Eminence, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Henry County will take on the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eminence, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
